This airtight fermentation lid fits standard gallon size kombucha jars and turns your jug into an airtight fermentation vessel.
The lid is drilled & grommeted with airlock and is for use with all standard one-gallon jugs. Choice of a “3 Piece Style Airlock” or “S-Shaped Airlock. Ideal for small-batch fermentation and food fermentation. The lid comes equipped with a pre-drilled hole and grommet that makes it easy to install and use tubing with the glass jar.
Fill a gallon jar with your favorite recipe, then screw on the base of the lid. Fill the airlock with water to the fill line. Place the stem of the airlock into the lid, and that’s it! You now have a simple, yet effective, fermentation vessel for your small-batch fermentation.
