The Organic Jun Kombucha Brewing Essentials Kit provides you with a fresh, happy starter culture and a turn-key home for it to live in.

What exactly does that entail?

• Certified Organic Jun Kombucha SCOBY, healthy kombucha culture with 1.5 cups of matured starter tea
• 1-gallon glass kombucha brewing jar
• 100% unbleached muslin cover + rubber band
• adhesive temperature strip
• Acid Range pH strips – 15 count matchbook

Twelve ounces of matured, potent starter tea is included with each culture, the perfect amount for a one-gallon batch of kombucha.

An adhesive temperature strip is included- sticks directly to the side of the jar. Know that your SCOBY is safe and comfortably fermenting in the proper temperature range.

A breathable cloth cover and rubber band is included to keep your kombucha safe from critters but still allowing it to breathe freely.

Quality Control

Once our cultures have matured, each is inspected by hand and only cultures that meet strict standards are selected to be rehomed.
They are then placed in thick, tear-resistant 6-millimeter food grade bags and filled with USDA Certified Organic Jun Kombucha starter tea.
Each packaged is marked with batch numbers and best by date before they are placed in another bag for an extra level of protection, so your new cultures arrives safely.
