Fermentaholics Universal Triple Scale Hydrometer allows gravity readings to be taken in three different scales simultaneously. Like Fahrenheit vs. Celcius, simply choose which of the three scales you prefer to use. The scales include BRIX, Specific Gravity Reading, and Potential Alcohol By Volume (ABV). Beer brewers mostly use the specific gravity scale, while winemakers mostly use the BRIX scale. No matter your preference, or experience level, your hydrometer has you covered.

Determining a finished product’s alcohol content is done by taking two gravity readings. One gravity reading is taken before fermentation, and the other is taken once fermentation is complete.
